I think this has been the worst year for dust storms since I’ve lived here, they are certainly very cool to see but they are a burden in many ways, the pool starts to go green almost over night, anything in outside of your home becomes dirty instantly including vehicles, and of course then come the allergies and asthma issues. Here are a few pics I snapped of the dust storms:

I figured it was time to share a little consumer pest control insight into what I’ve been dealing with over the past 2 months.
The housing estate where I live is built on old farm land and our home actually backs up onto a current field that has corn and cotton annually etc so having the odd mouse around isn’t something that surprises me to be honest, outside the home anyhow. I’ve never actually found myself in a position to need pest control but after finding a cute field mouse in our garage one night and after that even hearing them inside the walls (Arizona homes are wooden framed homes with drywall and stucco so entry can be pretty easy – figured I would address this for those of you with brick homes) rummaging around, and to be honest, the fear of coming home to a faulty electrical circuit or even worse, a burned down home wasn’t something that I wanted to look forward to in the near future.

So WWDC is finished and the iOS 5 and the iCloud have officially been announced, I did download and install iOS5 on my iPhone 4 and as it’s a “Developer” build it’s going to have bugs, more so I can say that bugs were not an issue in my opinion, it was lethargic as hell, it was really slow and that’s some what to be expected but I think it was as slow if not slower than a 1st Gen iPhone, so I’m going to wait until a few more releases (or even the GM build) hit’s the downloads page on Apple’s developer site.
I feel OTA (Over the air) backups/sync will be time very time consuming if you have many changes on your device also.
Yes it has some nice features plugged into iOS 5 but not enough of a change for it to become iOS 5, more so I think that 4.5 would have been sufficient, Twitter integration is nice but to be honest they could have added the other popular social networking site Facebook, it’s just as busy, if not busier and more used.
So what all is offered:

So something that’s seems to be trending (and something I get flamed about because I’m an iOS fan) is this new “iPhone tracking” topic, if you’ve not seen it in your Twitter feed or in your Facebook time line then you have just not been paying close attention.

Quiet Times
How nice, you’ve all had piece and quiet at least from myself as far as the online world goes for the past 3 weeks, I’ve hardly visited Facebook aside from direct messages or comments that get pushed to my iPhone Facebook app. Twitter I’ve honestly neglected it and I love Twitter, also I will say that Facebook is slowly becoming a pain in the ass to be honest, it’s nice to communicate but you have to fight through the game wall posts first to find a real update or to reply to one.
I really have had a lot going on, my granddad is sick back home and it’s a horrible feeling knowing that I can’t just call in and see him,
